Why A Wishin' Mission?

Zack was a happy, beautiful child.  He was smart, funny, loved school and his big brother.

Then he got sick.  Really quickly.  An incurable brain stem glioma, a rare form of cancer, took his life.  Zack was 8 years old.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was a safe refuge for Zach and his family in his final months.

A Wishin' Mission's goal is to help St. Jude find a cure for Zack's disease.  All proceeds from the Benefit Concert and Silent Auction will be donated for continued research.  You can help.

Zack's family, friends and supporters extend an invitation for you to come join them at Burn Out's on Sunday, November 13th.  Gate open at 11am.  Enjoy some great music - from country to gospel to good old rock 'n' roll - awesome BBQ, fabulous prizes and silent auctions!

If you can't, we understand, but you're gonna miss a mighty good show.  Make a donation anyway...please.

History

A Wishin' Mission was founded by Amy Quinn, native Mobilian and mother of two.  Amy and her husband "Quinn" lost their son Zack to brain stem cancer.  Numerous trips to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital with Zack made the entire family come to appreciate the caring, kindness, professionalism and the impact the hospital had on their lives.

Several years following Zack's death, the family gained 'closure' and decided to 'give back' to St. Jude's.  Amy decided to out together a benefit and that 100% of the proceeds would be given to St. Jude's to continue its research into childhood cancer.
